What do you do when life gets chaotic and you find yourself wrestling?
Continuing our Chaos series, Mark takes us back a generation from Joseph to his father Jacob: a schemer who spent his life trying to get ahead in his own strength. On the night before he faced his brother Esau, Jacob wrestled with God in Genesis 32 and walked away with a new name, a blessing and a limp. A touch from God changes everything: our walk, our name and our heart.
Whatever you are wrestling with right now, whether faith, family, finances, health or doubt, God is not distant from your struggle. Maybe it’s time to move from struggling to clinging. In the words of a missionary’s headstone: “I may not understand you, but I trust you.”
