Be a friend like Jesus
What does it really mean to be a friend like Jesus?
In this message, Darryl continues the Friends series and challenges us to upgrade our definition of friendship. Jesus didn’t wait for us to become worthy of friendship. He laid down His life for us and called us friends.
Through the story of the Good Samaritan and the example of Barnabas, we discover that biblical friendship means noticing people others miss, stopping when it would be easier to keep moving, encouraging those who are struggling, and believing in people others may have written off.
The challenge is simple: Who can you come alongside this week? Who can you pray for, invite, encourage and walk with? Your assignment from God might just have a name.
