Hope in the Waiting | Hope Season
In today’s message we opened Hope Season with a reminder that God does His greatest work in the waiting. Before Jesus arrived, there were 400 silent years. No prophets, no visions, no voice. Yet God was preparing everything perfectly behind the scenes. The world received a common language, Scripture spread, safe roads were built, and a deep spiritual hunger grew.
When heaven finally broke the silence, the first words were: “Your prayer has been heard.” God answered Zechariah and Elizabeth in the very place they had given up hope.
Galatians 4 tells us that Jesus came at the set time – not early, not late, but right on time. Hope has a timetable. God works while we wait. And just like the first Christmas, hope often starts small before it changes everything.
No matter what season you’re in, your waiting is not wasted. God is preparing, God is speaking, and hope is already on the way.
