Vibe, welcome to Day 7 of our fast, we’re one third of the way in and we’re fasting because mountains will move. Jesus said faith can speak to mountains and they must move, because what we’re facing isn’t just external pressure but internal battles too, and the Bible is clear that every believer is in a spiritual fight. That’s why fasting isn’t just about food, it’s spiritual warfare, because we can’t keep using natural tools for spiritual battles. Like Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20, when the news came of a vast army, he didn’t panic or fight in the flesh, he resolved to seek the Lord and called a fast, shifting dependence from human strength to God’s power. And God’s word to him is God’s word to us: “The battle is not yours, but God’s.” Our role is to take our position, stand firm, and praise before the victory, because praise is a weapon that releases breakthrough. As they worshipped, God set ambushes and won the battle, and the overflow was so great it took days to collect. Project Possible is our “vast army” in the natural, but it’s exactly why we’re fasting, because this is spiritual, and the enemy fears what God will do through it: salvations, restored families, reached teenagers, and a transformed community. We’re not denying reality, we’re refusing fear, and we’re believing God will fight for us and provide in such abundance it will take days to count what He’s done.
